David Johnson Misses Wednesday's Walkthrough
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson (quadriceps) did not take part in Wednesday's walkthrough practice due to a quadriceps injury. Johnson was injured in the Week 15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had just six carries for 24 yards and caught his only target for three yards. It was Johnson's first game action since Week 12, too, so he could be headed for another absence this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 30-year-old has been basically impossible to trust in fantasy, even in the deepest of leagues, in this low-scoring offense, especially when he's been splitting touches with Rex Burkhead. Burkhead would become a little bit more attractive as an RB3/flex if Johnson is inactive this weekend, although Royce Freeman would probably have some sort of role.
