3 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that corner infielder David Freese (hamstring) will come off the injured list on Sunday, Sept. 1. Outfielder Alex Verdugo (oblique) is still dealing with soreness and won't be activated the first week of September. Freese will return to a bench role for the final month. He doesn't have much appeal in redraft leagues, but he's useful against lefties when he starts in DFS. Verdugo is hitting a nice .294/.342/.475 with 12 home runs, 43 runs, 44 RBI and four steals on the season. The Dodgers won't rush him back, though, as he'll likely be a big part of their postseason push. With time running out, Verdugo will have very little time to help fantasy owners the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
