David Dahl Slowly Progressing
5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl (ankle) said he's "getting better every day," but isn't doing baseball activities besides throwing and dry swings. He's been working on an underwater treadmill but hasn't resumed jogging yet. Dahl has been out since Aug. 2 and with the way he's going, it's unlikely he'll return to Colorado's lineup until around mid-September. Most fantasy leagues are coming to an end in several weeks, so Dahl probably won't help your lineups much the rest of the way. With both Dahl and Raimel Tapia on the injured list, Yonathan Daza and rookie Sam Hilliard should split outfield work in left field. Hilliard had a big year in the minors and is worth considering in deep mixed and NL-only leagues if you're looking for a spark.
