David Dahl Has Another Multi-Hit Game
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl popped three hits on Saturday against Toronto, giving him his third multi-hit game in the last four contests. Dahl was the only member of the team to record multiple hits on a day when Toronto's pitching did pretty well overall, and the recent run has raised Dahl's overall batting average to .328. Unfortunately, that is buoyed by a ridiculous .452 BABIP that is sure to come down as the season stretches on. This isn't Dahl's first taste of success at the hands of a sky-high BABIP, as he hit .404 on balls in play during his exciting first taste of the majors in 2016, but it does make it hard to get a good read on where his BABIP should settle. For now, owners just need to brace themselves that correction is coming.
