3 years agoBased on repetitions on Friday, The Athletic's Chris Burke guesses that quarterback David Blough will get the start on Friday night in the preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts. Blough is likely to head into the final preseason game as the leader in the race for backup QB duties behind Jared Goff. Tim Boyle is better at creating chunk plays down the field, but Blough has been more reliable in training camp and the preseason. The Lions don't intend to play their starters on Friday night, so those in DFS contests should avoid in Detroit starters. Blough went 12-for-17 for 143 yards and a touchdown in the team's last preseason contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
