Darren Waller Expected To Be Busy In 2023
1 year agoESPN's Dan Graziano writes that we shouldn't be surprised if New York Giants tight end Darren Waller leads the team in catches in his first year in the Big Apple. The Giants have an intriguing receiver room this year, but no one in it has established themselves as a true No. 1 target. Waller can create mismatches in the middle of the field and get open for quarterback Daniel Jones. He had more than 1,000 receiving yards in 2019 and 2020 before missing time each of the last two years due to injuries. Jones has been looking at Waller often during the summer, and if he can stay healthy, Graziano thinks he's the strongest candidate on this roster to emerge as the leading receiver. The 30-year-old will be a risk/reward top-five fantasy wideout in 2023.
