8 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles has mentioned to teammates that he is seriously considering a return for another season in 2019. The 35-year-old was expected to retire after the 2018 season, but Sproles has missed most of the season with a hamstring injury that he suffered in the season opener. Sproles has 29 carries for 120 yards with a touchdown on the ground in only six games in 2018, adding 15 receptions for 160 yards and another two scores heading into the playoffs. The pint-sized running back remains valuable in the passing game, but his inability to stay healthy in recent years will hurt him on the free-agent market if he chooses to play another season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
