Darren O'Day May be Worth Late-Round Flyer As Insurance
7 years agoWhen it comes to our overall fantasy rankings, Darren O'Day isn't Mr. Irrelevant, but he's darn close, coming in at No. 439 out of 443. Why show any interest at all? Well, while his overall numbers are not the sexiest, he did record two saves in 2017, which shows he could possibly be a closer if Brad Brach should get injured while filling in for the already-injured Zach Britton. He's also a decent pick-up for those who use Holds as a stat. It'd be a case of "Next Man Up." If you want to take a flyer on him in a very late round, then feel free to do so.
