Darrell Henderson Jr. Faces Tough Matchup In Week 8
2 years agoIn Week 8, Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. faces a tough matchup against a San Francisco 49ers defense that limited him to just 27 yards in their last meeting in Week 4 of this year. The 49ers allow the 14th-fewest rushing yards per game and the second-fewest per attempt. The Rams are gaining the second-fewest rushing yards per game and the second-fewest per attempt. Since their first meeting, Henderson has taken over as the Rams lead back, but he still isn't seeing many carries or much efficiency. In Week 6, the first week Cam Akers missed, Henderson only gained 43 yards n 12 carries. His touchdown potential is also severely limited, as the 49ers are giving up the 9th-fewest points per game, and the Rams only scored 9 points on them last time around. Only start Henderson in lieu of a better option.
