Edmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse scored his team's lone goal against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night. Nurse had played so well before his injury but had no goals to show for it. He misses a little over two weeks, come back, and promptly scored midway through regulation. Nurse, off a nice transition, was able to get the puck past Jonathan Quick for a short-handed tally. The defenseman had five shots, four hits, and two blocked shots as well in 26:35 of ice time. Nurse is fine and will continue his top-pairing deployments in all phases. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
