3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (groin) is active on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers to close out Week 9 action. Mooney popped up on the injury report in practice on Friday, but the 24-year-old will be good to go in primetime. Mooney has developed some decent chemistry with rookie first-round quarterback Justin Fields, but this is a low-volume passing attack that ranks dead-last in the NFL in passing yards per game (127.4). Mooney did have six catches on a season-high nine targets for 64 yards in Week 8, but he has just one 100-yard game and one touchdown in eight games in 2021.
