Dante Pettis Injured Monday Night, Won't Return
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Dante Pettis (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of the Monday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs after he suffered a shoulder injury during a muffed punt in the first half. Pettis had seen a larger role in the previous two games, but that was with top receivers Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney all missing time. Before suffering the injury on the punt return, Pettis wasn't targeted at all in the passing game. Shepard and Toney should be New York's top pass-catchers on Monday night, with John Ross and Darius Slayton also mixing in behind them.
