Danilo Gallinari Scores 27 Points In Loss
6 years agoLos Angles Clippers small forward Danilo Gallinari continued his terrific start to the season on Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He led his team in scoring with 27 points, on 7-for-15 shooting, and was a sparkling 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Gallinari also chipped in with three three-pointers, three rebounds, and two steals in 26 minutes. This game brings Gallinari's scoring average to 20.0 points-per-game and he’s shooting a stellar 97.2 percent from the free-throw line. Considering his low ADP, any owners that took a chance on the injury-prone small forward are reaping huge rewards. He’s in the top-25 currently and while he may not stay that highly ranked all season, anywhere in the top 50 would be a steal. As long as he’s healthy, Gallinari should make strong contributions in points, three-pointers, free-throw percentage, and he’s a decent rebounder too. Gallinari will look to continue his strong play on Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
