Daniel Pineda and Alex Caceres squared off in a thrilling featherweight contest at UFC Vegas 74 on Saturday. Caceres managed to defeat Pineda with his stellar speed and came out on top of the judges' scorecards via unanimous decision. Pineda most recently competed back in March of this year, earning a second-round submission victory over Tucker Lutz. The 37-year-old has gone 6-1 over his past seven fights overall. In 15 minutes of action, Pineda landed a takedown and tallied 27 significant strikes compared to Caceres, who landed 60. Pineda had never previously won a fight by decision, and that didn't change Saturday night, as the judges unanimously sided with "Bruce Leeroy" after a clear-cut "Fight of the Night" battle.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
