Daniel Jones Throws for 144 Yards in Preseason Game Vs. Ravens
Daniel Jones completed 10 of his 21 passes for 144 yards in a 24-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in his team's first preseason game of the year. Jones was pressed into action earlier than expected after Anthony Richardson Sr. was forced from the game with a dislocated pinky following the Colts' second possession of the contest. The Colts managed two field-goal scoring drives but no touchdowns while Jones was under center. Jones ran the offense up until halftime, giving way to rookie Riley Leonard to begin the third quarter. Richardson is being called day-to-day by the Colts, setting the stage for the camp battle between him and Jones to continue into the team's second preseason game, which will come against the Green Bay Packers next Saturday.
