Although Daniel Hemric has been one of the slowest drivers this season, his 14th-place qualifying run yesterday matches his best of the season at the spring Dover race and he's been genuinely quite consistent on drafting tracks because he's been less crash-prone than most other drivers this year and crash avoidance is often sufficient to obtain a good finish. As a result, he has finished no worse than 18th on drafting tracks this year and earned two of his four ninth place finishes (his best of the season) at Talladega and Daytona. He also had his only on-track passes for the lead this season at Talladega. The combination of his crash avoidance and both his and Kaulig Racing's greater speed on this track type makes him a solid dark horse selection for a top ten finish.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
