Daniel Berger had a rough showing at Carnoustie, shooting a four-over par and missing the cut on the number. The young American appeared as if he was going to make the weekend, but a closing stretch of three bogeys in his final four holes eliminated him from the tournament. Berger has now failed to make the weekend at two of his three Open Championship appearances in his career. However, despite the missed cut, Berger has been experiencing a very solid year on tour. The 25-year-old posted a career-best T6 showing at the U.S. Open held at Shinnecock Hills and posted a top-35 result at the Masters. Berger, who is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, has won both of his titles at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. The Florida native is one of the most talented young players on tour, and it shouldn't be long until he finds himself in the winner's circle again.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBallerRead More News
