7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell erupted on Wednesday night in a winning effort over Atlantic division-rival Philadelphia. Russell missed over 30 games following knee surgery in November and over the past handful of games has shown plenty of rust, but he has shown glimpses of the breakout season he was starting to have. On Wednesday, Russell scored 22 points off the bench in what was a breakout performance after a couple frustrating games. Russell is a dynamic scorer who had a sky-high usage rate in the early part of the season. The usage rate probably won’t return to previous levels due to the emergence of some young players, but Russell figures to be a fantasy asset over the remainder of the season.--Bash Mike
