7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D’Angelo Russell struggled mightily in his return from a knee injury he suffered back in November. Limited to just 14 minutes of playing time, Russell was 0-for-5 from the field and looked rusty throughout. Obviously better days are ahead for the talented combo guard from Ohio State University, but Friday went worse than expected. The Nets were able to etch out a win over a red-hot Miami Heat squad, and the return of Russell should help the Nets continue to win games at a higher clip. Expect Russell to bounce back in short order as he continues to get his legs under him and consider Friday a blip on the radar.--Bash Mike
