D'Andre Swift Still In Concussion Protocol
4 years agoDetroit Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell said that rookie running back D'Andre Swift (concussion), who missed the Week 12 loss to the Texans on Thanksgiving, is still working through the league's concussion protocol. The Lions keep saying that Swift is close to returning, but until he's out of the concussion protocol, his fantasy managers should view him as highly questionable to play in Week 13 against the Bears. Chicago's defense isn't the greatest matchup, but if Swift can get cleared and return, he'll be an upside RB2 as fantasy managers look to get into the playoffs. If he misses yet another game, veteran Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson will continue to split the backfield workload, keeping both of their ceilings lower as RB3/flex types.
