Damien Harris, Latavius Murray Competing In Short-Yardage Situations
1 year agoBuffalo Bills running backs Damien Harris and Latavius Murray have been competing at training camp in short-yardage situations. Murray remains the more accomplished and better receiver of the two backups to James Cook, but Harris has consistently been the second back to get snaps after Cook throughout training camp. It will be interesting to see where the competition goes during the preseason, given that Murray is the more productive pass-catcher and has shown short-yardage ability. The Bills could go back and forth between Harris and Murray behind Cook, which will make it hard to endorse either back as an RB4/flex in fantasy drafts. If we had to pick, we'd favor the 26-year-old Harris.
