Damian Lillard Hits 11 Three-Point Bombs Versus Minnesota
2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard tied his own franchise record with 11 made three-pointers in Monday's 133-112 victory over the Timberwolves. He did it with 17 attempts, and Lillard was able to hit 13-for-21 overall from the field during a 38-point performance. Of course, sitting behind the three-point line limited his work in other areas, as Lillard had only three assists with four turnovers and collected two rebounds. Lillard has started a red-hot scoring stretch, averaging 38 points per game across his last three outings. He's missed 15 games this season with health issues, so it's understandable that Lillard is trying to make up for lost time. The recent surge has boosted Lillard's scoring average to 28.3 points, and he has registered 4.0 rebounds and 7.1 assists.
