Damian Lillard 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was spectacular throughout 2018-19, earning his fourth All-NBA team selection and even helping the team make the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. He averaged 25.8 points on 44.4 percent shooting, dishing out 6.9 assists and recording 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals. Lillard shot just below 37 percent from deep and missed only two games. Dame played every game during his first three years in the league, but since then he had failed to record more than 75 appearances before 2018-19. A healthy Lillard is one of the best players in the NBA and a very valuable fantasy piece. He's a very consistent performer night in night out and always seems to get his points, even when he's struggling from three-point range. The Blazers have steadily put together a very solid team, which has helped Lillard to elevate his game and he might even end up in MVP conversations if Portland produces another good year. Getting close to a 27-7-5 line looks very realistic for him, and his efficiency should improve as well, with him now having seven years of experience under his belt.
