5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) said he will play in Week 14 against the Lions. His shoulder issue is a pain-tolerance deal, and he's been told there shouldn't be any risk of further injury. Cook could be at risk of losing some touches to backup Alexander Mattison this weekend, but he needs to be in fantasy lineups as long as he's active. He went off for 142 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in the first meeting with Detroit back on Oct. 20. Mattison is a worthy waiver pickup as insurance, especially if you own Cook, but he'll be a weak flex play if Cook is actually starting.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
