Dalvin Cook, Breece Hall Could Have 50-50 Split In Week 1
1 year agoThe Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt writes that it's virtually impossible to predict how the New York Jets will split the workload between running backs Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall (knee) to begin the 2023 regular season, and Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills might not be indicative of how it's going to look the rest of the year. Hall just started taking part in 11-on-11 drills a few weeks ago, and Cook practiced in full for the first time on Aug. 29. Rosenblatt ultimately expects it to be something of a 50-50 split, at least as the Jets ease Hall back into form after he tore his ACL in his rookie season in 2022. Both RBs will have plenty of opportunities for touches and both should contribute as pass-catchers. Predicting their fantasy production could be a headache, though, especially in a tough Week 1 matchup against the Bills.
