Dalton Schultz, Michael Gallup Inactive Monday Night
2 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz (knee) and wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) are both officially inactive on Monday night against the New York Giants after they were questionable leading up to the contest. Schultz is dealing with a PCL injury that he suffered in Week 2 in his right knee and Gallup is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in January. Gallup had two padded practices this week and is trending in the right direction, but he and the team thought it best that he sit out this week. The Cowboys are "hopeful" that he can play in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders, according to a source. Rookie tight end Jake Ferguson will have a big role with Schultz out, while Noah Brown should continue to see plenty of targets as the No. 2 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb.
