Dak Prescott Unlikely To Play Sunday Night?
3 years agoIt would surprise many close to the situation if Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (calf) starts on Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings. He is officially a game-time decision for Week 8, but backup Cooper Rush saw most of the meaningful repetitions during the week of practice, and Prescott was away from the team on Friday following the passing of his grandmother. Prescott traveled with the team to Minnesota, but it's looking more unlikely that he will start. Fantasy managers need to go with a backup plan, and it doesn't help matters that Dallas' game is on Sunday night. With Rush having never started an NFL game, all of the Cowboys offensive skill players need to be downgraded as well if Prescott is indeed inactive.
