5/9:Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora stated that it is just a mild case of carpel tunnel syndrome and it is easily treatable, so it looks like starting pitcher David Price (hand) will be able to avoid a trip to the disabled list. Price was scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday due to numbness in his left hand, but it seems like the ailment is not serious. Price has had a rocky season to this point with a 5.11 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP through seven starts, which also includes an egregious 8.22 ERA in his last five outings. Fantasy owners may want to be patient with Price and wait for him to find his game before starting him with regularity.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
