D.K. Metcalf Good To Go For Sunday Night
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (foot) was removed from the final injury report for Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be available on Sunday night. Metcalf raised some eyebrows when he didn't practice on Thursday, but he's good to go despite dealing with a foot issue. The 23-year-old superstar comes into the week as the overall WR9 with 25 receptions on 38 targets for 383 yards and five touchdowns through the first five weeks. However, he should be downgraded slightly to more of a high-end WR2 now that quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) is on Injured Reserve. Backup Geno Smith looked comfortable targeting Metcalf right away and even threw a touchdown to him last Thursday, but there will surely be a drop-off under center. The good news is that Pittsburgh has been vulnerable through the air this year, allowing eight touchdowns to WRs.
