New York Jets cornerback D.J. Reed believes that this year's iteration of their defense can be the best in the league and one of the best in NFL history. Reed said, "I think we have the potential to be the best defense in the NFL. Honestly, I think we can be historical, not just the best defense in the league..." He proceeded to say that he thinks the Jets' defense can be on the level of the 1985-'86 Chicago Bears and the "Legion of Boom" Seahawks squad. This offseason has provided the most hype for the Jets since the earlier days of Rex Ryan's tenure with Darrelle Revis as the headliner on defense. The defense/special teams unit is currently ranked in the top five in the league for fantasy projections, but they also have one of the toughest schedules this year.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerRead More News
