Cowboys Were In On Jerry Jeudy
2 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys were in on Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy before landing wideout Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans on Sunday. The Broncos have been seeking a first-rounder in exchange for Jeudy, so the Cowboys gave up a fifth-rounder in this year's draft and a sixth-rounder in 2024 to land Cooks instead. Dallas now has CeeDee Lamb, Cooks and Michael Gallup as their top three receivers heading into the 2023 campaign. Jeudy is expected to remain with the Broncos because of his high price tag. The former first-rounder has underwhelmed in his first three NFL seasons, but he did set career-highs in catches (67), receiving yards (972) and touchdowns (six) in 2022.
