Cowboys Make New Offer To Dak Prescott
5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys have sent a new contract proposal to quarterback Dak Prescott with the franchise-tag deadline coming this Thursday, according to a source. The Cowboys' new offer would likely at least be in the neighborhood of the current deals for Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff at $33.5 million per season. Prescott's side has already turned down a multi-year deal that would pay him $33 million per season. Dallas is hoping this jump starts talks for a multi-year extension. If that doesn't happen, they'll place the franchise tag on him to buy them more time. Either way, Prescott is the team's franchise QB and will stay in Dallas for at least another season. He'll be a high-end QB1 for fantasy owners.
