The Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms with free-agent cornerback CJ Goodwin on a two-year, $3.5 million deal on Tuesday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The deal includes $2 million guaranteed. The 31-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Cowboys and appeared in 35 games (zero starts), adding 19 tackles in that span. Goodwin is more of secondary depth, as his primary value with Dallas lies on the special teams unit. He is considered one of the premier special teams contributors in the NFC East. The Cowboys also agreed to terms with long-snapper Jake McQuaide on Monday. Goodwin recorded nine tackles (six solo) in 16 regular season games on defense for the Cowboys in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
