Courtland Sutton Only Sees Three Targets Monday
2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had by far his worst game of the season in the Monday night loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to close out Week 6. Sutton finished with just two catches on three targets, which was tied for third on the team with rookie tight end Greg Dulcich and receiver KJ Hamler, for a season-low 14 yards in the 19-16 overtime defeat. It was a disappointing stat line for Sutton in this terrible Broncos offense, especially since he had seen at least seven targets in the five previous contests. The 27-year-old should bounce back in Week 7 against the New York Jets, but Sutton's fantasy floor is looking scary unless the Broncos can somehow find a way to sustain more drives and score more points.
