Courtland Sutton Nearing Extension with Broncos?
Courtland Sutton, according to Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sport. Lombardi notes that Sutton did not participate in several drills during the team's practice on Monday. Sutton will turn 30 in October and is entering the final year of his current deal. In 17 games last season, he recorded 81 catches for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns, emerging as the clear favorite target of quarterback Bo Nix. Sutton is an integral piece of Denver's offense, so it makes sense that the team would want to eliminate any possible contract-related tension with him before the season starts. He profiles as a back-end WR2 in full-PPR fantasy leagues.
