Courtland Sutton Catches Only Two Passes In Week 8
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was a big disappointment in the 17-10 win over the Washington Football Team in Week 8, catching two of his four targets for 40 yards on Sunday. Sutton was second on the team in receiving yards as they snapped their four-game losing streak, and he was also tied for a team-high with his four targets, but he couldn't do a whole lot with it. The 26-year-old is fully healthy after tearing his ACL in 2020 and has two 100-yard games with two touchdowns on the season, but Denver's offense is proving to be pretty unspectacular more often than not. He'll also have to deal with Jerry Jeudy stealing targets from him moving forward. There is plenty of big-play ability here, but Sutton's big WR2 games have been impossible to predict.
