Corey Seager Has Been Clutch In Postseason
1 year agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager has plenty of playoff experience and always seems to come up clutch at the plate. He went 4-for-8 with three doubles and two RBI in the two-game sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays in the wild-card series. In 2020 with the Los Angeles Dodgers when they won the World Series, Seager won both the NLCS MVP and the World Series MVP. He hit five home runs and had 11 RBI in the seven-game NLCS and then hit .400 (8-for-20) with two more homers and five RBI in the World Series. Despite missing more than 40 games in 2023 with hamstring, thumb and forearm injuries, Seager hit .327 with 33 home runs and 96 RBI in his second year with the Rangers. He and Texas' offense will be a force to be reckoned with as they take on the Baltimore Orioles in the American League Division Series.
