Corey Seager Day-To-Day With Forearm Contusion
Corey Seager (forearm) avoided a fracture on Tuesday night and is day-to-day with a forearm contusion, according to manager Tony Beasley. Seager was hit by a pitch on his inner left arm against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday, but he has apparently avoided a serious injury. However, it remains to be seen if he'll be back in the starting lineup on Wednesday, so fantasy managers should be prepared to put him on their bench. The 28-year-old shortstop was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in the game before departing. If he's unable to play on Wednesday, the Rangers will likely shift Marcus Semien to the 6 and have either Mark Mathias or Charlie Culberson handle the keystone.
