Corey Seager Could Return To Lineup Monday Against Braves
2 years agoTexas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that it's possible shortstop Corey Seager (hamstring) comes off the injured list and is in the starting lineup on Monday against the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Charlie Morton. Seager has played in three minor-league rehab games for Double-A Frisco and is fully expected to return from the injured list at some point during the three-game series this week against Atlanta. The 29-year-old left-handed slugger will take over starting shortstop duties, pushing Ezequiel Duran to the designated hitter spot or a bench role. Fantasy managers should be stoked to be getting Seager back this week, as he was hitting .359 (14-for-39) with four doubles, a home run and four RBI in 11 games before getting hurt.
