Corey Davis 2018 Outlook: High-End Sleeper Status
6 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis had a quiet rookie season, but he picked the optimal time to breakout. In a playoff game against the Patriots, Davis caught five passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns, flashing the ability that made him the number five overall draft pick last year. Unfortunately, they were his first and only two touchdowns of the 2017 season, as Davis produced little to nothing from a fantasy standpoint.
Entering his second season, Davis is a promising talent whose ceiling far exceeds that of most receivers being drafted in the same tier. With a new coaching staff, the Titans could open up the playbook and utilize the passing game more, which bodes well for his prospects. Davis won't make it past the sixth round in most drafts, so target him a bit earlier if you buy into the hype.
