Cordarrelle Patterson Will Practice Wednesday
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said that running back/wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) will be out on the practice field on Wednesday after missing last Thursday's game against the New England Patriots. It's unclear if Patterson will be limited, but the fact that he'll practice at all is a good sign that he has a chance to return this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Falcons offense looked pathetic without Patterson last week, relying mostly on Qadree Ollison and Mike Davis in the backfield. Patterson has been more useful for his receiving skills, as he's caught 39 passes for 473 yards and five touchdowns, also adding 77 carries for 303 yards and two more scores. If he returns this weekend, he'll be heavily used as one of the team's best playmakers, and he'll have RB2 upside against Jacksonville.
