Cordarrelle Patterson Avoids Serious Injury
4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson (knee), who was briefly sidelined in the Week 15 win over the Vikings, avoided a serious knee injury. Patterson, who ran the ball once for three yards and caught his only target for four yards, has a pretty good chance of playing in Week 16 against the Jaguars. He currently leads the league in kickoff returns (32), yards (942) and average (29.4). David Montgomery was a workhorse for Chicago on the ground on Sunday with a season-high 32 carries against Minnesota. Patterson is mostly just a gadget player on offense on the ground and through the air for the Bears, giving him almost no fantasy appeal unless your league credits points for kick-return yardage.
