Corbin Martin Sent Back To Triple-A
6 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Corbin Martin was sent back to Triple-A Round Rock after another disappointing start Monday in Seattle. Reymin Guduan was recalled in a corresponding move and head to the bullpen. Houston has said lefty Framber Valdez will take Martin's spot in the rotation. Martin was good in his first start but hasn't pitched more than four innings since. He will head back to Triple-A with a 5.51 ERA with a 5.59 xFIP and a whopping 13 percent walk rate. Martin will presumably work on his command with the Express, but he's not worth holding onto in fantasy while he does.
