Cooper Kupp Has Bursitis In Knee
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) has bursitis in his knee, but "the hope is to have him ready to go" for the Divisional Round against the Green Bay Packers. Kupp hauled in four of his nine targets for 78 yards in the 30-20 win over Seattle, but he was seen limping off late in the fourth quarter with his knee injury. While it's not a serious injury, it's something to consider with both quarterbacks Jared Goff (thumb) and John Wolford (neck) also banged up heading into the second round of the postseason. Kupp could also see a lot of shutdown cornerback Jaire Alexander against the Packers, making him a potential bust in fantasy playoff leagues this weekend.
