Connor Norby Back In The Lineup For Marlins
3 months agoMiami Marlins rookie infielder Connor Norby (foot) is back at third base and hitting leadoff on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates and left-hander Bailey Falter at PNC Park. Norby fouled a ball off his foot on Monday and was scratched from the starting lineup on Tuesday as a result, but the injury obviously wasn't serious enough to keep him sidelined for more than one day. With the Fish playing out the string in 2024, the 24-year-old prospect is going to see everyday playing time at third base the rest of the way. He's the team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and has looked good at the plate since being acquired at the trade deadline from the Orioles. Norby is already up to six home runs and has seven doubles, 13 RBI and two stolen bases in just 19 games played since coming to South Beach. Get him back into your starting lineups on Wednesday.
