Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid finished with two assists as the team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to secure a 4-2 victory in Game 1 against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. The Oilers became the first team in NHL history to achieve five comeback victories during a single postseason. McDavid's assists came on Edmonton's first two goals, scored by Corey Perry and Leon Draisaitl. Kris Knoblauch's team often finds itself in trouble, but with McDavid in top form, the Oilers always have a chance to turn a hockey game on its head. Following Tuesday night, the three-time MVP has taken the scoring lead in the 2025 playoffs with 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in seven games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
