2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts are looking into free-agent quarterback Gardner Minshew, according to sources. Minshew and new Colts head coach Shane Steichen were together with the Philadelphia Eagles the last two years, with Minshew making four starts. Indianapolis is looking for a new starting QB after releasing veteran Matt Ryan, and Minshew has started 24 NFL games in his career. Minshew played in 14 games (12 starts) in his rookie year in 2019 with the Jacksonville Jaguars and became a rookie sensation by throwing for 3,271 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. In three seasons since, he has played in 18 games (12 starts) and has thrown for 3,361 yards, 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. If the 26-year-old signs with Indy and serves as their starter in 2023, he'll be startable in two-QB/superflex leagues.
