Colts Expected To Move On From Eric Ebron
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said "we'll probably move on" from tight end Eric Ebron, who will be a free agent in March. Ebron predictably fell short in 2019 after a career year in 2018 with Andrew Luck in which he caught a league-high 13 touchdown passes. The 26-year-old played in just 11 games this year and ended the season on Injured Reserve, catching 31 passes for 375 yards and only three scores. Ebron can be a solid pass-catching tight end for another team moving forward, just don't expect a return to double-digit touchdowns ever again. His landing spot in free agency will determine his 2020 fantasy value. Jack Doyle would be in line for a big boost in value next season with Ebron out of the picture.
