9 months agoHouston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said that pitcher Collin McHugh (elbow) "is going to need a little more down time" as he recovers from right elbow soreness that landed him on the injured list last week. "He’s played catch a couple days and has not seen any progress. He’s not any closer than he was a few days ago," Hinch said. The 31-year-old was recently demoted to a relief role after going 3-4 with a 6.04 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 44 2/3 innings in 10 outings (eight starts) for the Astros. He can be left on waivers for now in mixed leagues, but there's a chance he could be making more starts for Houston at some point this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
