10 months agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Collin McHugh is being moved to the bullpen, and it's expected that Corbin Martin will be called up from the minors to make the start on Sunday against the Rangers. McHugh looked good to begin the year but has fared terribly since with a 12.00 ERA and 1.72 WHIP in his last four starts. The 'Stros have seen enough for now. McHugh was great out of the bullpen in 2018 but will lose most of his fantasy appeal pitching in relief. Martin, 23, had a 1.48 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 28 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings (five outings) for Triple-A. The right-hander could be worth a look in deep mixed leagues if he sticks around in Houston's rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
